WINNERS!

Before I announce the winners of our Easter contest, I wanted to say a few things.

Firstly; I want to apologise for the length of time it has taken me to get to posting up the results. I work anything up to 200hrs a month (nights), and with no contributors to help me out, it's really difficult to keep on top of things on my own.

Another reason for everything being so slow, was because I was waiting for all of you to show some interest and actually take part. Of the nearly 300 members in this group, we received about 5 votes on the contest entries. This makes me really sad because people have taken the time to create their entries and the majority of the group hasn't shown the slightest bit of interest. I'm not having a go at everyone - we have a dedicated list of members who always vote and show interest, and they will know who they are - but it doesn't give me much motivation to move things on and actually hold contests, if no one can be bothered to vote and show appreciation for the competitors work.

Finally; due to the awful reception this contest has received, until I actually received some help from members, in the form of contributions not only to the group itself (admins, contributors) but also to contest prizes, I won't be hosting any more. This again makes me sad, but it's me and only me that is forking out for subscriptions, points and the like, with no offer of help. Even if you can just feature winners in your journal, that's something!

A group is supposed to be social. It's supposed to be full of like minded people, wanting to support each other and share their interests. At the moment, this isn't feeling much like a group Great photos, but no team play. If any of you would like to correct me, please do...
